About the role
- Analyze billing, claims, and payment data to identify trends
- Investigate root causes of denied/underpaid claims
- Recommend and implement corrective actions to prevent future denials
- Collaborate with billing, coding, and reimbursement teams
- Independently troubleshoot issues
- Create reports and dashboards using advanced Excel skills
- Apply quality assurance principles
Requirements
- Medical billing experience required
- Strong knowledge of DME billing
- Oxygen experience is required
- Advanced Excel skills
- Prior experience as a Billing Analyst or similar revenue cycle role
- Strong analytical and investigative ability
- Proven ability to research complex payer issues
- Solid understanding of payer rules, medical claim workflows, and denial management
