About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Install tow truck bodies, recovery equipment, transport trailers, and related systems
Install mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and structural components
Perform equipment upfitting and customization tasks
Complete assembly and basic fabrication assignments
Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs
Assist with troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
At least 1 year of automotive, diesel, fabrication, equipment repair, or related mechanical experience
Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools
Must provide and maintain a basic set of hand tools
Experience with tow trucks, trailers, heavy equipment, or commercial vehicles (Preferred)
Welding or fabrication experience (Preferred)
