About the role

  • Support the ministry and business operations of Prison Fellowship
  • Leadership of the infrastructure team and direct support of all PFM computing infrastructure including on-prem and cloud networking, Cloud services (AWS), and other infrastructure components
  • Lead and provide Tier 3 support for escalated infrastructure support issues
  • Implement and maintain continuity of business and cybersecurity measures on computing infrastructure
  • Ensure engineering practices align with PFM strategy and policies

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in a relevant field
  • 2-5 years in a managerial role
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent combination of coursework and experience
  • Strong background in AWS cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, Docker, MS 365 administration, MDM administration, Azure cloud management, security tools
  • Background in IaC technology (Terraform)
  • Demonstrated understanding of Cybersecurity and Continuity of Business measures
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new environments and tools quickly
  • Experience with engineering teams and serving data and application teams
  • Experience managing GitHub (or other software repository) and code management, merges, deployment
  • Practical experience working with Agile-like and Waterfall environments
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and troubleshooting expertise
  • Ability to multitask and perform effectively under pressure
  • Ability to identify and document long-term expenses of software solutions
  • Advanced communication, planning and organizational skills
