About the role
- Our Central Division plays a vital role in ensuring that our operational and administrative functions are delivered efficiently, enabling us to maintain the highest standards of care across our organisation.****Priory is looking to recruit a Head of Commercial Finance (Healthcare)to join the team. This is a full time role, 37.5 hours per week.** **Location: Remote, with national coverage. Travel will be required nationally to regional offices and sites with prior notice and occasional overnight stays. ****The successful candidate will need to hold a Full Driving Licence and have access to their own car. ****
- As part of our onboarding checks, the candidate will be subject to ‘Fit and Proper Person’s compliance checks.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate:
- - The role holder will ideally be professionally qualified as an accountant through one of the recognised accountancy bodies (ACCA, CIMA, and ICAEW). Additionally the role-holder will possess advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- - Generally working to medium and long-term objectives, reporting to the Commercial Finance Director UK, the role has a significant degree of autonomy and authority, as responsible for the financial management across a number of Priory services.
- - Proven leadership experience in commercial finance with a background in Health and Social Care related sectors.
- - Strong understanding of funding models, commissioning and regulatory frameworks.
- - Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- - Experience of leading a team of Finance Business Partners and multi-site business of scale.
- - Proven track record in influencing decision making within a business and improving financial performance.
