About the role

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Local Authorities, Clinical Commissioning Groups and other commissioners of Specialist Residential, and Supported Living.
  • Maintain existing relationships and initiate new relationships to promote services to the market.
  • Work with commissioners to understand market requirements to allow appropriate development of existing services.
  • Provide guidance on the need for new services.
  • Responsible for occupancy of the Priory Adult Care estate and for driving growth.

Requirements

  • Graduate or equivalent with a proven track record of new business development, ideally within the social care sector
  • Proven self-starter with excellent track record in delivering against sales targets.
  • Strong analytical skills, with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including report writing and presentation capabilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • The candidate must reside within the Sales Region.
  • Desirable but not essential – knowledge of social health care and services.
  • Experience gained within a relevant position requiring business acumen and highly developed associated skills.
  • Knowledge of commissioning systems and processes would be an advantage.
  • Understanding the importance of provider/commissioner relationships in the delivery of high quality care to the people who use Priory services.
  • Ability to relate at a senior level to all elements of the customer base as well as internal senior
  • Able to articulate clearly and succinctly in high pressure and challenging situations.
