About the role
- Direct and develop merchandising strategies for retail and wholesale businesses
- Set sales plans and drive Open-to-Buy (OTB) planning
- Curate and range successful assortments aligning inventory with customer demographic and seasonality
- Build product range, manage wholesale customer relationships, and oversee supply chain and logistics
- Collaborate with business leaders to develop and implement sales plans across channels
- Partner with Supply Chain to ensure seamless inventory flow into retail stores
- Review bestsellers, manage assortments and purchase orders
- Oversee operational and administrative merchandising functions ensuring efficiency and strategic execution
Requirements
- College degree preferred
- 10+ years of experience in merchandising
- At least 4 years in a leadership role
- Strong communication skills with ability to build relationships with multiple stakeholders
- Passion for leading and growing a team
- Experience with Open-to-Buy (OTB) planning and assortment optimization
- Experience in wholesale merchandising, customer relationship management, supply chain and logistics
- Experience managing assortments and purchase orders
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and business leaders
