About the role

  • Work with TypeScript, NodeJS, GraphQL, Prisma, Postgres, NextJS, React, and Relay to build PrimerOS
  • Collaborate with team members across engineering, product, design, and academic programs
  • In-office, full-time internship based in Mission district office in San Francisco
  • Tackle meaningful projects with direct impact used daily by teachers, students, and families
  • Receive mentorship and grow skills with support from a small, high-performing team
  • Contribute to engineering culture through code reviews and high standards for quality

Requirements

  • Experience or familiarity with TypeScript, NodeJS, GraphQL, Prisma, Postgres, NextJS, React, and Relay
  • Passion for education and redesigning the school experience
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and solve ambiguous problems
  • Strong fundamentals in engineering principles
  • Attention to craftsmanship and detail in building exceptional software
  • Ability to work in San Francisco 5 days a week (application asks this explicitly)
