About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the day-to-day technical and operational aspects of our survey division
Manage Survey Party Chiefs, Instrument Operators, Survey Technicians, and field crews
Plan and coordinate survey operations across multiple projects
Review calculations, control networks, coordinate transformations, stakeout packages, cut sheets, and field data
Establish and maintain survey QA/QC procedures
Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, Engineers, and clients
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to survey personnel
Support continuous improvement of survey processes and documentation
Help ensure projects are delivered safely, accurately, and efficiently

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of heavy civil construction surveying (10+ years of industry experience)
5+ years of Experience managing survey crews and office survey operations
Strong knowledge of construction layout, survey control, calculations, QA/QC, and field operations
Experience supporting bridge, highway, rail, airport, marine, utility, or tunnel construction
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Passion for mentoring and developing survey professionals
Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) licensure is a plus but not required.
