Controls Engineer – Innovation, Training
Prime ControlsControls Engineer developing training for industrial control systems at Prime Controls. Evaluating new technologies and supporting project teams in high-quality service delivery.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Developing training on various aspects of industrial control systems
- Evaluating new technologies
- Working with the training department to develop and execute training for Automation Specialists
- Developing BOMs, IO lists, and requirements for control panels
- Writing PLC programs in Ladder, Function Block, and other languages
- Writing hardware and software test plans and simulation logic for testing PLC and HMI systems
- Testing new products and technologies
- Developing company standards
- Addressing design problems as necessary
- Helping project delivery teams to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair programming and system failures
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5 years of industrial automation experience
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, related Bachelor’s discipline, related degree from a Technical College or equivalent Industrial controls experience
- Excitement around new technologies and exploring new ways to perform work.
