About the role
- Developing training on various aspects of industrial control systems
- Evaluating new technologies
- Support project delivery teams with high quality professional services
- Developing and executing training for Automation Specialists and other technical employees
- Creating BOMs, IO lists, and requirements for control panels
- Developing PLC programs in Ladder, Function Block, and other languages
- Writing hardware and software test plans and simulation logic
- Testing new products and technologies
- Developing company standards
- Interfacing with manufacturers and vendors of software
- Collaborating with others to troubleshoot and repair programming and system failures
Requirements
- 5 years of industrial automation experience
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, related Bachelor’s discipline, related degree from a Technical College or equivalent Industrial controls experience
- Excitement around new technologies and exploring new ways to perform work.
