About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Establish a modern controlling function for the supply chain
- Act as a business partner for Operations Management, Supply Chain and Procurement
- Responsible for inventory valuation and the continuous development of inventory controlling
- Create transparency around stock levels, goods movements and their financial impact
- Analyze supply chain and operations KPIs such as inventory, COGS, logistics costs and forecast accuracy
- Support budget planning, forecasts and operational financial planning
- Build and evolve dashboards, reporting structures and KPIs
- Prepare business cases for operational decisions, e.g., regarding suppliers, logistics structures or inventory strategies
- Identify cost and working capital optimization opportunities across the value chain
- Bring financial perspectives to operational decisions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Economics or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in Controlling, Operations Finance, Supply Chain Analytics or Consulting
- Relevant experience with inventory, cost structures or operational KPIs
- Analytical and data-driven working style
- Ability to present complex relationships clearly and understandably
- Structured, independent and solution-oriented working approach
- Excellent skills in Excel or Google Sheets
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau, or willingness to learn quickly
- Ideally experience with ERP or financial systems
- Interest in data analysis, reporting and developing meaningful KPIs
- Strong communication skills and team orientation
- Proactive work style and flexibility
- Several years of practical experience; not an entry-level position
