About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You are responsible for the strategic planning, end-to-end management and continuous optimization of our entire supply chain: from forecasting, S&OP, procurement, demand planning and production scheduling through inventory management, logistics and fulfillment to performance management across relevant KPIs.
You establish robust, scalable processes that enable growth while optimally balancing product availability, service levels, costs, cash flow and working capital to deliver an excellent customer experience.
You ensure the optimal use of our ERP system and, together with the team, continuously improve data quality, process discipline and system usage so that decisions can be made reliably, transparently and at scale.
You develop our purchasing function from an operational procurement role into a strategic value driver: with a clear supplier strategy, professional negotiation management, framework agreements, multi-source concepts and measurable efficiency gains.
You actively drive the digitalization, automation and data-driven management of our supply chain and use modern tools and AI-supported approaches to make forecasting, planning, reporting and decision-making more efficient and robust.
You operate active risk management to safeguard our supply capability, minimize bottlenecks, strengthen resilience and ensure compliance with legal requirements, quality standards and internal policies.
You lead, develop and motivate your team of currently five employees, both functionally and disciplinarily: with clear prioritization, strong execution and a culture of ownership, transparency and mutual support.

Requirements

What you’ll need

You hold a relevant degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a comparable field.
You have at least 10 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in a dynamic growth environment and in a leading company.
You have already professionalized a supply chain in a scaling organization and bring a very good understanding of end-to-end processes, S&OP, forecasting, inventory control, supplier management and operational excellence.
You have solid experience with ERP systems and a deep understanding of how end-to-end processes in supply chain, purchasing, inventory management, production planning and reporting are mapped, controlled and optimized in systems.
You have relevant expertise in strategic procurement and can demonstrably structure supplier portfolios, conduct negotiations and realize cost savings.
You have experience in leading and developing teams, ideally in hybrid or remote work environments.
You are fluent in German and English at a minimum of C1 level.
Industry experience in Consumer Goods, Food, Beauty, Supplements, Pharma, FMCG or e-commerce is a plus.
