About the role
- Lead the end-to-end development of ML & GenAI solutions to transform the operations journey, from problem framing and data exploration to production deployment, tackling business challenges with autonomy and scientific rigor;
- Set and uphold high technical standards across multiple AI initiatives, ensuring quality, scalability, and consistency;
- Mentor fellow DSs and accelerate team learning, providing structure in the way of working, and driving a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Extensive experience (3+ years) in data science or applied machine learning, leading end-to-end initiatives in complex technical domains and delivering measurable business impact through ML and GenAI solutions;
- Strong analytical and quantitative mindset able to translate data into insights, assess model performance, and guide decision-making with evidence and clarity;
- Structured problem solver skilled at framing ambiguous challenges, defining success metrics, and communicating results to both technical and non-technical audiences;
- Practical technical experience in coding (strong proficiency in Python and knowledge of coding best practices) and in ML/GenAI (experience with building ML models using frameworks such as scikit-learn and XGBoost, and familiarity with leveraging GenAI LLMs via APIs like OpenAI GPT or Gemini);
- Curious and adaptive leader, proactive in exploring new methods, improving processes, and driving innovation in a fast-evolving environment.
