About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Supervise, mentor, and train accounting staff.
Perform first-level review of journal entries and financial statements to ensure accuracy.
Identify, develop, and implement streamlined accounting procedures.
Ensure compliance with Federal WIOA, local, State, and corporate policies.
Direct fiscal operations relating to financial planning and reporting.
Lead the preparation and maintenance of project budgets and forecasts.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related field.
7+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
Advanced knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Proven experience with budgeting and forecasts across multiple funding streams (specifically WIOA or government contracting) is highly preferred.
Advanced MS Excel and Accounting Software skills.
