Accounting Manager

• Prepare and process accounts payable, including reviewing vendor agreements
• Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries, working closely with our Global Accountants
• File original paper agreements and invoices in our Budapest office (1–2 times a month)
• Monitor the AR inbox and respond to customer inquiries with a high level of care and customer orientation
• Support the Sales Team with daily requests and record adjustments across different systems
• Upload invoices and information to various customer platforms to facilitate payments to Prezi
• Assist with Month End tasks, including accruals
• Support the Year-End audit process
• Reconcile Global Bank and Credit Card Accounts
• Apply your understanding of accounting principles to ensure accurate posting
• Identify discrepancies and determine the right course of action
• Strictly adhere to internal controls, SOPs, and work instructions
• Proactively investigate and resolve issues, and escalate complex matters when needed
• Spot opportunities to improve processes and share best practices with the team
• Contribute to other general accounting and special projects as they come up
