About the role
- Join the firm’s Corporate/Real Estate practice group as an experienced attorney
- Engage in work across corporate transactions, commercial real estate, and finance on behalf of clients
- Engage with high level of client interaction and involvement in all aspects and levels of work
- Handle matters that cross state, regional, and national borders
- Collaborate with attorneys in all offices on broad range of issues and transactions
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) Degree from an accredited law school
- Active bar membership (or anticipated) in New Hampshire
- 2–4 years of experience in corporate transactional practice, commercial finance, and/or commercial real estate
- Experience supporting closings for corporate and/or commercial finance and real estate transactions preferred
- Experience drafting and negotiating corporate transactional documents, including purchase/sale agreements and ancillary deal documents (e.g., disclosure schedules, closing certificates, resolutions) preferred
- Experience with corporate governance and ongoing company support (e.g., formations, operating /shareholder agreements, board and member consents, and commercial contracting) preferred
- Experience with transaction due diligence, including land use and permitting matters, title examinations, and title insurance preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and teamwork
- Ability to manage complex matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
