About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage end-to-end export operations from documentation and classification to carrier coordination and claims resolution
- Ensure compliance with U.S. and foreign import/export regulations
- Prepare customs invoices, commercial documentation, and shipping labels for export orders
- Track shipments from origin to destination and maintain timely status updates for stakeholders
- Run denied party and sanctions screening on every export
- Create, file and resolve freight claims and disputes promptly
- Quote international shipping fees, duties, and taxes for export orders
- Coordinate daily with DHL, FedEx, UPS, freight forwarders and trade agents to secure capacity and competitive rates
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience in global logistics, international shipping, supply chain operations, or related analytical roles
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. export regulations (EAR, ITAR as applicable)
- Hands-on experience tracking international shipments and working with freight forwarders and customs brokers
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or military service
- Proficiency with business tools such as Excel
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple orders and priorities simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
