  • Apply sound engineering judgment when balancing technical decisions with business objectives, delivery timelines, and long-term maintainability.
  • Partner with client stakeholders and delivery teams to understand business objectives, clarify technical requirements, and deliver solutions aligned to client outcomes.
  • Communicate technical progress, risks, dependencies, and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of professional software engineering experience designing, developing, and delivering production applications.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience developing cloud-native applications on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages and frameworks such as Java, C#/.NET, Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, or Spring.
  • Experience designing and building RESTful APIs, distributed systems, event-driven applications, and working with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with modern software engineering practices including Git, CI/CD, automated testing, containers, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture fundamentals, application performance, resiliency, scalability, observability, secure development, and production operations.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments, including sprint planning, estimation, backlog refinement, and iterative software delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with product management, business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts and trade-offs clearly to a variety of audiences.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% as engagement needs require.
