About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform monthly and long-term forecasting, budgeting, and modeling
  • Report on and analyze operational metrics
  • Prepare executive and ad hoc reports
  • Perform financial and variance analyses by identifying key drivers
  • Identify trends indicating strengthening or weakening performance
  • Develop financial tools, analyses, and metrics supporting business strategies
  • Provide ad hoc financial analyses and analytical support
  • Conceptualize and develop summary charts and tables for large volumes of data
  • Review own and others' work for quality, accuracy, and relevance
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and manage leadership expectations
  • Navigate and lead multiple engagements and competing priorities
  • Lead analytic teams to solve complex business problems

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or another related quantitative discipline is required
  • 3–5 years of related business experience, including public accounting, consulting, or finance
  • Advanced Excel skills, including crafting, interpreting, and presenting financial projections and models
  • Experience with financial analysis tools such as OneStream, TM1, and Hyperion
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Qlik, QlikView, Tableau, and Power BI
  • Significant experience and proficiency with relational database models and writing SQL queries
  • Experience with planning systems such as OneStream, Hyperion, and IBM
  • Basic understanding of key financial statements and accounting principles
  • Ability to apply analytics strategies to solve problems and identify relevant reporting observations
  • Ability to document work performed and observations identified clearly
  • Experience using analytics tools and/or programming languages to derive and communicate business insights
  • Ability to bring order to unstructured problems
  • Ability to learn new technologies and develop innovative technology-based solutions
  • Ability to investigate business needs, ask probing questions, and collaborate with stakeholders
  • Ability to navigate multiple engagements and competing priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment
  • CPA or CFA, or progress toward these credentials, preferred but not required
  • Master of Business Administration preferred but not required
  • Preferred: experience in collaborative analytics engagements, preferably in consulting or business analyst roles
  • Preferred: experience leading analytic teams to solve complex business problems
