About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead all aspects of IT projects, including scope, schedule, resources, quality, costs, and change control
Lead project delivery within scope, on time, and within budget
Manage expectations and requirements of internal, partner, and customer stakeholders
Plan and implement IT solution development projects
Collaborate with delivery and sales leadership to drive customer business value and support Presidio’s goals
Build and maintain project schedules
Lead resolution of budget, schedule, and scope issues and escalations
Oversee Scrum meetings, project meetings, and technical deep-dive sessions
Ensure deadlines and cost targets are met and escalate to Presidio leadership when necessary
Maintain comprehensive project documentation and reports using project management tools
Serve as liaison between business and technical project aspects
Lead cross-functional, virtual, and offshore teams
Develop project plans tracking tasks, schedules, risks, and issues for project and client teams
Ensure projects align with Presidio’s strategic objectives
Act as a trusted advisor, guide clients through business challenges, clarify outcomes, and shape delivery for measurable value
Foster consultative customer partnerships and identify opportunities aligned with strategic goals
Champion a customer-first approach throughout project phases
Support Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps teams delivering automation, assessments, cloud builds, application migrations, and workshops
Communicate timelines, KPIs, Agile Scrum standups and sprints, and delivery timelines to client stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
7+ years of experience in IT project management and general IT consulting
Demonstrable skills in Project Management Institute standard methodologies, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall
Ability to manage Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall processes for application development and modernization projects
Proficiency in Confluence, Jira, and Microsoft Project
Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, Trello, Teamwork, Zoho, and similar project management tools
Experience with Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
Understanding of AWS and/or Azure cloud technologies and cloud application stacks
PMP or similar professional certification preferred
CSM or similar professional certification preferred
AWS Cloud Practitioner or similar certification preferred
Azure Fundamentals or similar certification preferred
Experience leading projects leveraging AWS and/or Azure technologies preferred
Strong time management, analytical, communication, thought leadership, team building, motivational, and customer service skills
Excellent client-facing communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to learn quickly, adapt to change, and stay current with emerging technologies and tools
Demonstrated consultative mindset connecting technology solutions to business outcomes
Customer-first orientation and ability to drive stakeholder alignment
Desire to learn new technologies, methodologies, and solutions
