About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create detailed "bill of materials" (BOM) and schematic designs for cabling systems
- Determine requirements for rack-level power, including branch circuit monitoring and PDU selection
- Design physical layout of cabinets to maximize cooling efficiency
- Establish standards for Fluke testing and interpret OTDR results
- Enforce strict documentation standards for cable runs and power ports
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
- Overall 1-3, 3+, 3-5, 7-10, 10+, 15+, years of experience in physical infrastructure
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in cabling precision (Category 6A, OM4/OM5 fiber, and OS2 singlemode)
- Must be a US Citizen
- Ability to obtain Government Security Clearance
