About the role

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, goals, and objectives
  • Define the organization's cloud strategy and roadmap, aligning it with business strategies
  • Identify opportunities to leverage cloud services for improved efficiency, agility, and cost savings
  • Assess and recommend suitable cloud platforms and deployment models
  • Architect and design cloud-based solutions that align with business and technical requirements
  • Develop scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures
  • Evaluate and select appropriate cloud technologies, frameworks, and tools
  • Design integration patterns for seamless connectivity between cloud and on-premises systems
  • Plan, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, and security components
  • Develop and implement cloud security strategies, policies, and procedures
  • Assess existing IT systems and develop strategies for migrating to the cloud
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing technical guidance on cloud architecture.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Proficiency in cloud architecture design principles and best practices
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure components in the cloud
  • Experience with cloud migration strategies and tools
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment
  • Certifications like AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Certified Architect are desirable.
