About the role

  • Lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure, cloud-native applications on AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Ensure delivery quality through strong architecture, clear standards, and proactive risk management.
  • Partner across AppDev, Data, and Cloud practices to maintain alignment on delivery models and technology direction.
  • Support Presidio’s digital roadmap through standardization, best practices, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Pre-Sales and Solution Owners on scoping, delivery estimates, and proposals.
  • Balance hands-on technical leadership with effective delivery management to achieve business outcomes.
  • Manage and coach a team of engineers and architects, fostering accountability, learning, and collaboration.
  • Promote modern engineering practices including DevSecOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Represent Presidio in client architecture discussions, workshops, and solution design sessions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of software or product engineering experience, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or team lead role.
  • Proven success delivering cloud-native or hybrid applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong technical foundation in Java, C#, Python, Node.js, React, or Angular.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, microservices, and serverless architectures.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Ansible.
  • Understanding of automation and AI integration in modern engineering workflows.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business domains.
  • Must be a US Citizen and ability to obtain government security clearance.
