About the role
- Lead a team of highly skilled, geographically dispersed leaders focused on Hyperscaler growth in services and consumption.
- Responsible to recruit and attract talent aligned to the needs of the business.
- Create standardized roles and responsibilities and drive accountability for individuals.
- Align resources to the right opportunities and drive the sales campaign to closure.
- Build teams focused on AWS deal sourcing and positioning.
- Partner with Sales Leadership to identify the needs of the customers.
- Build and maintain long-term loyal client relationships.
- Build credibility and strengthen relationships with AWS executives.
- Recognize the accomplishments and demonstrate the impact of presales team members.
- Collaborate with DBSS peer leaders to improve sales and delivery motions within the organization.
Requirements
- 15 years of cumulative experience in large, multi-dimensional technology organizations
- 5+ years of sales management experience
- Experience in technology solution sales
- Experience with computer, storage and network technologies in complex organizations
- Demonstrated ability to execute in highly matrixed environment
- Strong presence and track record of engaging and influencing executive stakeholders
- Authentic and transparent leader
- Strong operational skills of managing a budget and optimizing resource alignment
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
