About the role
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive partnership strategy, including key objectives, opportunities, challenges, required certifications, and solution focus areas.
- Provide proactive updates to Presidio executive leadership regarding partnership status, market trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging opportunities.
- Represent Presidio’s voice in partner discussions, planning meetings, and strategic forums to influence programs, policies, and long-term direction.
- Prepare leadership for participation in executive advisory boards by providing briefing materials, strategic insights, and clear recommendations.
- Track, measure, and report on Presidio’s performance within the partner ecosystem, including revenue trends, profitability, market share shifts, and competitive positioning.
- Identify areas of growth, risk, and underperformance across regions and solution practices.
- Summarize key industry developments, market movements, acquisitions, organizational changes, and technology trends relevant to the partnership.
- Support joint sales campaigns aligned to mutual priorities, ensuring strong field-level collaboration and measurable outcomes.
- Arm Presidio sales and engineering teams with education on joint value propositions, partner programs, incentive structures, and GTM motions.
- Strengthen alignment between Presidio and partner business units, solution teams, and technical leaders to maximize engagement and visibility.
- Ensure Presidio fully leverages partner rebate programs, incentives, and funding opportunities.
- Educate internal teams on deal registration processes, pricing programs, and other mechanisms that improve profitability.
- Identify and pursue incremental investment opportunities to accelerate growth.
- Coordinate and lead regular business reviews with Presidio’s corporate and field leadership.
- Work cross-functionally with Finance, IT, Marketing, Solutions Engineering, and Managed Services to streamline reporting, automate processes, and improve operational efficiency.
- Provide timely reporting and program compliance updates to partners as required.
- Collaborate closely with the aligned Partner Marketing Manager to define and drive joint marketing strategy, including campaign planning, messaging alignment, demand-generation activities, and event execution.
- Develop and maintain content related to the partnership—including battlecards, GTM presentations, internal training materials, case studies, and SharePoint resources.
- Ensure consistent messaging across sales, marketing, and partner-facing teams to reinforce joint value propositions and strategic priorities.
- Prepare partner-related messaging, data, insights, and positioning for executive communications and sales leadership.
- Support partner-related events, including preparation of briefing materials, coordinating meetings, and ensuring timely follow-up.
- Cultivate strong cross-functional relationships spanning executives, sales leaders, technical teams, and partner field organizations.
- Identify early signs of challenges or misalignment at both corporate and field levels and implement remediation plans.
- Ensure Presidio is recognized as a trusted partner and is prioritized for early-stage programs, briefings, and pilot opportunities.
- Manage key action items, initiatives, and follow-up tasks across the partnership lifecycle.
- Respond rapidly to executive-level requests for data, analysis, or strategic input.
- Support international teams as they expand their partner capabilities and GTM motions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with an IT reseller, systems integrator, or technology solutions provider.
- 5+ years of experience managing OEM or alliance partnerships, including sales programs, pricing models, and joint selling motions.
- Background in sales or direct customer engagement strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to operate independently, prioritize effectively, and make sound decisions in a fast-moving environment.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex partner programs into actionable, value-driving guidance for field teams.
- Strong balance of strategic planning and tactical execution.
- Demonstrated success building relationships from senior executives to individual contributors.
- High sense of urgency, responsiveness, and follow-through.
- Creative mindset with the ability to identify new approaches that enhance partnership performance and competitive differentiation.
- Ability to adapt to evolving business requirements, partner strategies, and market conditions.
