About the role
- Develop and execute a comprehensive managed services strategy aligned with company goals, identifying market opportunities and potential new service offerings
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key client decision-makers, proactively addressing their needs and ensuring high levels of service satisfaction
- Monitor and manage the day-to-day operations of managed services, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met and service delivery quality is maintained
- Lead and mentor a team of technical experts, including network engineers, security analysts, and service desk personnel
- Manage the P&L for the managed services business, including pricing strategies, cost optimization, and revenue forecasting
- Identify new business opportunities within existing client accounts and actively pursue new client acquisition through sales and marketing efforts
- Continuously evaluate and improve service offerings, incorporating new technologies and industry best practices to enhance client value
- Possess a deep understanding of IT infrastructure, network technologies, security protocols, and cloud computing solutions
Requirements
- Proven track record in managing large-scale managed services operations, ideally larger than $250M in annual revenue
- Minimum of 10 years of leadership of service delivery organizations
- Experience leading all aspect of service delivery including but not limited to architecture, design, strategy, and implementation
- Strong technical knowledge across various IT disciplines
- History of leading established project management and resource allocation functions to ensure successful customer engagements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams
- Proven track record of running a services P&L with strategic planning, budgeting, and service execution in line with financial targets
- Experience in contract negotiation and service level agreement management
- Understanding of industry trends and emerging technologies
