About the role

  • Review and approve services delivery proposals as needed.

  • Align resources to the right opportunities and drive a PreSales process to gain the technical win.
  • Ensure that teams are positioning the appropriate services and documenting detailed customer requirements and expectations.
  • Activity participate in client account related activities that establish the Solution Architecture team as a trusted advisor internally and with customers, such as: Account planning, EBCs, social events, etc.
  • Actively participate in key opportunities to improve outcomes, gain feedback and insights, and create meaningful mentorship opportunities.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain long-term loyal client relationships, as well as establish and attack/convert competitively held accounts.
  • Be in front of clients as much as possible both virtually and in-person to present Presidio solutions and to gain knowledge about the clients' business requirements.
  • Engage Director/VP/CIO level at clients directly.
  • Vendor Partner Alignment and Strategy.
  • Lead partnership and build meaningful relationships with area vendor partner sales and presales to develop and execute joint Go-to-market (GTM) strategies and programs.
  • Presales Innovation.
  • Lead presales innovation for relevant focus areas.
  • Map current state, seek feedback from stakeholders, and create collaborative plans to drive innovation in presales measures, process, tools, and reporting.
  • Drive Talent Agenda: Responsible to recruit and attract talent aligned to the needs of the business.
  • Create individual development plans to advance the skills of the team and to provide career growth.
  • Operational Excellence: Align resources to the right opportunities and drive a presales process to gain the technical win.
  • Ensure that teams are positioning the appropriate services and documenting detailed customer requirements and expectations.
  • Partner with Sales Leadership to identify the needs of the customers in the territory and drive the right engagement to support financial goals.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain long-term loyal client relationships, as well as establish and attack/convert competitively held accounts.
  • Be in front of clients as much as possible both virtually and in-person to present Presidio solutions and to gain knowledge about the clients' business requirements.
  • Partner Relationships: Build credibility and strengthen relationships with manufacturer partner teams.
  • Advocacy: Recognize the accomplishments and demonstrate the impact of presales team members.
  • Work across practices and executive leadership to identify and be able to provide presales team with resources needed to succeed.
  • Partner with local PS Directors to provide pipeline visibility and Vendor/Customer expectations of services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
  • 10+ years combined experience in either presales, leadership, and/or management in at least one of the following areas Networking (LAN, WAN, SDN), Security, Mobility, Data Center (Compute, Storage, Virtualization, Data Protection), Cloud Platforms, Cloud Management Platforms, Container Platforms, Unified Communications, Security, ServiceNow, IT Consulting, Professional or Managed Services in IT.
  • Excellent customer and vendor relationship skills
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Excellent presentation, written & verbal communications skills
  • Ability to present and capture audience attention to a large room of employees, clients, or vendors
  • Ability to lead by example
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively, in written and oral form, to a variety of audiences
  • Intimate knowledge of system and solution architectures
  • Experience and Professional level Certification(s) in one or more of Presidio’s portfolio of top manufacturing partners
  • Proven Technical problem-solving and design ability
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, mentor, and grow team(s)
  • Ability to travel regionally.
