About the role
- Uses analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills to support, maintain, and optimize the Workday Financials system
- Partners with Finance, Supply Chain, HR, and IT stakeholders to ensure financial processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with organizational needs
- Provide best practice guidance, resolve system issues, and deliver solutions that support Presbyterian's mission
- Provide consulting support to Finance stakeholders on Workday Financials functionality and optimization
- Act as a primary point of contact for system troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of Workday Finance issues
- Configure and support Workday Finance modules
- Advise Finance stakeholders on business process design possibilities, risks, and best practice solutions
- Support partnership with PHS Analytics Organization by participating in defining and validating business requirements
- Support Finance Information Systems through bi-annual and other Workday update releases
- Proactively evaluates and recommends adoption of changes as they meet organizational needs
- Evaluate and transform data from source systems
- Contribute to the development of Functional Design Documents, Business Requirement Documents, and more
- Work closely with Finance management, Subject Matter Experts, and IT Engineers
Requirements
- Bachelors degree
- Six years of relevant experience may substitute for degree
- Workday Finance certification(s)
- Experience with healthcare ERP/EHR integrations (e.g., Workday with Epic)
- Familiarity with CMS reporting requirements and nonprofit finance standards
- Prior experience in healthcare organizations
