About the role
- **Essential Responsibilities**
- **Product Ownership & Delivery**
- - Create, prioritize, and maintain a product backlog aligned with product vision and business objectives.
- - Understand customer operations and how our products can deliver value and help maximize operational efficiency.
- - Prioritize features and stories within sprints to maximize customer value.
- - Ensure backlog items are clearly defined, understood, and properly estimated.
- - Facilitate sprint planning, discovery sessions, and translation of requirements into actionable user stories.
- - Review and analyze product performance and present well researched ideas on how to improve customer experience
- **Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement**
- - Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure features meet customer needs and are delivered on schedule.
- - Serve as a subject matter expert for the product domain and a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- - Partner with development, design, and QA teams to maintain product quality and consistency.
- **Innovation & Continuous Improvement**
- - Stay current with industry trends and Agile best practices to drive product innovation.
- - Identify opportunities for process improvement and enhanced customer experiences.
Requirements
- **Qualifications**
- - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- - 5+ years of proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role.
- - Hands-on experience with business process and requirements analysis.
- - Strong understanding of complex systems
- - Proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum) and backlog management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
- - Excellent decision-making, communication, and organizational skills.
- - Familiarity with user-centered design principles
- - Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive outcomes without formal authority.
- - Some travel may be required.
