About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own organic social media across every channel for IM8
- Drive platform strategy, content velocity, community growth, and ambassador-driven social activation
- Own end-to-end organic social strategy across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, X, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms
- Build a rolling 90-day social content calendar
- Own global social presence and localized adaptations for the US, UK, HK, and APAC markets
- Build a social-first content engine
- Lead trend-jacking, reactive content, and cultural moments
- Build an always-on community management program
- Drive follower-to-customer conversion through coordinated social and lifecycle touchpoints
- Partner with the Ambassador & Partnerships Manager to integrate content into brand social
- Own weekly and monthly social performance reporting
- Embed AI across every stage of the social workflow
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6+ years in social media with at least 2+ years leading a social function at a DTC, consumer, or creator-led brand
- Proven track record growing branded social accounts
- Deep platform fluency on TikTok and Instagram
- Hands-on content producer
- Experience integrating talent, athletes, or celebrity ambassadors into brand social
- Strong command of social analytics
- Excellent creative judgment
