About the role
- Provide excellent customer service at the counter by listening to customers and meeting their needs
- Respond to telephone inquiries from customers
- Search catalogs for the correct part to meet the customer's’ needs
- Calls vendors to determine availability and price of parts not in stock
- Maintain a section of the showroom floor
- Assist warehouse personnel in identifying and finding parts
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Ability to listen and communicate with customers and co-workers.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A high school diploma and/or GED is required.
- Combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- A minimum of 4 years experience in parts sales and/or parts counter operations is required.
