About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own domain blueprints/frameworks and associated technical roadmaps
Establish guiding principles and design patterns for product or domain areas
Recommend technology choices to the Principal Architect for approval
Translate product/domain vision into technical blueprints for engineering teams
Recommend and assess new technologies
Design and develop software solutions, including complex development efforts
Craft current-state and future-state high-level system designs
Participate in solution design discussions and influence business and product strategy
Lead exploration and proof-of-concept initiatives
Initiate and lead process and technical improvements
Evaluate business and technology partners
Provide hands-on coding and development as business needs dictate
Mentor and coach senior and lead software engineers
Coordinate technical activities with other Premier teams
Assess technical skillsets of less senior team members and support development plans
Create technology implementation guidelines and promote adherence across technology teams
Provide subject matter expertise across at least three Premier products or business domains
Ensure product quality and adherence to architecture governance guidelines

Requirements

What you’ll need

4 or more years of applicable experience
Bachelor’s degree required
Strong web, desktop, and/or cross-platform application development experience
High proficiency in .NET Framework and C#
Good understanding and experience in SDLC methodologies
Strong experience with data acquisition and APIs
Deep experience architecting and designing solutions for functional and non-functional requirements
Strong experience in relational database design and SQL development
Experience with application development, data acquisition, and technology architecture
Experience with UI development and object-oriented programming
Experience with Linux, RabbitMQ, HTTP protocol, REST API, and JSON
Experience with Dynamics CRM platform and architecture, including modules, security, database schema, customization, integration, development API, and testing
Experience with Azure and cloud technology
Experience with Entity Framework, LINQ, Databricks, JavaScript, and jQuery
Experience with a DevOps tool such as Git, TFS, Azure DevOps, or JIRA
CI/CD experience and understanding of Docker containers and Kubernetes
Experience with application testing and QA processes, including regression, unit, interface, and integration testing
Experience with test automation and testing frameworks
Experience with development libraries such as Telerik or Syncfusion
Experience with Mirth
Experience with Angular or other web development frameworks
Ability to remain stationary for prolonged periods
Ability to adapt, change priorities quickly, and meet deadlines
