About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Verify software products and systems function according to business requirements and design documents
Develop and execute exploratory, manual, and automated tests
Establish appropriate test scenario coverage and manual-to-automated test coverage ratios
Apply enterprise methodologies and standards for version control, documentation, continuous integration, continuous deployment, automation, policy compliance, and team collaboration
Write validation criteria and test scripts
Execute test scripts and make independent decisions
Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to teammates
Stay current with emerging testing technologies and capabilities
Maintain thorough knowledge of Premier products and the healthcare business domain
Adapt to changes in scope, schedule, and assignments
Travel 1–20% within the US

Requirements

What you’ll need

4 or more years of applicable work experience
Bachelor's degree required
Proficiency in SQL, including single-table and multi-table joins
Knowledge of relational and dimensional database concepts
Experience with database query tools
Test automation development using AI, Java, Selenium, Cucumber, or equivalent technologies
Programming skills in one or more scripting or object-oriented languages, such as Python, Java, C#, or C++
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Ability to adapt quickly to changes in scope, schedule, and assignments with little or no direction
Ability to provide guidance, support, and mentorship to teammates
Self-motivated to learn and stay current with emerging testing technologies
Thorough knowledge of Premier products and business domain
Ability to write validation criteria and test scripts
Ability to meet deadlines and change priorities quickly
Attention to detail
Ability to operate computer programs and software
Ability to communicate effectively in person and electronically
Ability to make independent decisions
Ability to work collaboratively in close quarters with peers and interruptions
Ability to remain stationary for prolonged periods
