About the role
- Working under the direction of the Assistant General Counsel or Deputy General Counsel
- Draft, negotiate and review contracts and amendments prior to execution by management
- Provide counsel to business unit leadership with respect to contractual and regulatory issues
- Research legal issues and keep current with case law and court opinions
- Assist with risk management and litigation issues with outside counsel
- Respond to inquiries from Premier customers and business partners
Requirements
- 5 or more years of experience in applicable fields
- Juris Doctorate (Required)
- North Carolina bar member
- Extensive knowledge of commercial contract law and corporate law
- Drafting and negotiating legal documents
- Analytical reasoning
- Organizational and time management skills
- Top 25% of class preferred
