Key responsibilities & impact

Working under the direction of the Assistant General Counsel or Deputy General Counsel
Draft, negotiate and review contracts and amendments prior to execution by management
Provide counsel to business unit leadership with respect to contractual and regulatory issues
Research legal issues and keep current with case law and court opinions
Assist with risk management and litigation issues with outside counsel
Respond to inquiries from Premier customers and business partners

Requirements

What you’ll need

5 or more years of experience in applicable fields
Juris Doctorate (Required)
North Carolina bar member
Extensive knowledge of commercial contract law and corporate law
Drafting and negotiating legal documents
Analytical reasoning
Organizational and time management skills
Top 25% of class preferred
