About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Market, demonstrate, and sell agricultural new and used whole goods products.
- Promote any other goods or services that the Company offers.
- Be informed of company promotions or special events in all departments.
- Profile new and existing customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with products or services.
- Keep abreast of business trends that will affect customer purchases.
- Attend John Deere or in-house training seminars, product introductions, and farm or turf trade shows.
- Stay current on product knowledge, features, and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the Company.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Competitive self-starter with discipline and goal orientation.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Strong organization and time management.
- Familiarity with farming practices, GPS, and Precision Agriculture.
- Knowledge of agricultural equipment and farming communities.
- Ability to work rotating weekends.
- Valid driver’s license.
