About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and support enterprise workflow automation solutions using Appian, Microsoft technologies, and related automation platforms
Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
Lead complex business process automation initiatives, including case management, workflow orchestration, document processing, and system integrations
Develop and maintain integrations with internal and external systems using RESTful APIs, web services, and event-driven architectures
Leverage Appian AI and intelligent automation for classification, extraction, summarization, routing, and decision support
Provide technical leadership and engineering guidance to developers
Drive operational excellence through code reviews, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and production support
Promote engineering best practices, reusable components, and platform governance standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve business processes and customer experiences
Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies and bring innovative ideas to the team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems (required)
Eight years of relevant experience (required)
Knowledge of the software development lifecycle
Skills using one or more programming languages
Strong Appian experience preferred
Expertise in business process automation solutions preferred
RESTful APIs and creating integration services preferred
Ability to communicate effectively and represent the team to other teams or leadership preferred
Ability to adapt to new technologies according to business needs
Experience working in an Agile environment
Experience working in the healthcare industry or a highly regulated environment
