About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain software applications across web, cloud, and enterprise platforms;
Partner with business and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions;
Write and improve code using modern development practices including CI/CD;
Support production systems through troubleshooting and performance optimization;
Participate in testing and ensure quality through automation;
Contribute to system design decisions, including prototypes and proofs of concept;
Collaborate with team members while mentoring junior engineers and sharing knowledge.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems
Five (5) years of software development experience, knowledge of software development lifecycle, and skills to utilize one or more programming languages
Experience working with cloud solutions.
Experience in healthcare industry or a highly regulated environment.
Technical knowledge and experience with specific technical tools used at Premera (i.e. Facets) or required for open position.
Previous experience in an agile environment.
Exposure to API and service-based technologies.
Experience using and creating automated test tools.
