About the role
- Design, build, and optimize data pipelines and infrastructure to support AI/ML models and advanced analytics.
- Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
- Design and implement scalable data architectures for AI/ML workloads using cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Collaborate with data scientists to prepare and transform data for model training and inference.
- Integrate ML models into production systems, ensuring efficient data flow and monitoring.
- Optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing for large-scale datasets.
- Implement data quality checks, compliance standards, and security best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar area.
- (2) years of relevant experience and knowledge of the software development lifecycle, relational database theory, and skills to utilize one or more programming languages.
- Preferred: Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of data governance and MLOps best practices.
- Programming: Python, SQL, and experience with frameworks like PySpark or Dask.
- Data Platforms: Experience with Hadoop, Spark, Databricks, or similar big data tools.
- Cloud Services: AWS (S3, Glue, EMR), Azure Data Factory, or GCP BigQuery.
- ML Workflow Tools: Familiarity with MLflow, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Databases: Snowflake Data Platform, Relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL), and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Version Control & CI/CD: Git, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
