About the role
- Create, modify, and test code, forms, and scripts that construct data sets for Data Science and Business Intelligence.
- Develop, implement, and maintain ETL scripts, data models, and data pipelines.
- Translate business needs into requirements and specifications for data processes and tools.
- Troubleshoot issues and solve problems independently and collaboratively.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or similar (Required).
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and relational database theory.
- Skills to utilize one or more programming languages and scripting.
- Experience performing ETL (extract, transform, load) processes.
- Experience providing data integration services within healthcare organizations.
- Familiarity with healthcare-specific regulatory requirements for data management.
- Knowledge of Tableau, SAS, R, and other analytic tools.
- Ability to develop, modify, and test code, forms, and scripts for data sets.
