Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and manage the Data Science and Engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation
Develop and implement data science vision and strategy aligned with business goals
Oversee the development and execution of projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results
Mentor and guide team members, promoting professional growth and development
Utilize advanced data science techniques, including machine learning, predictive modeling, and data mining, to extract actionable insights
Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data infrastructure, ensuring scalability and reliability
Implement best practices for data management, data governance, and data security
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions into business processes
Partner with business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide data-driven solutions
Drive the adoption of data-driven decision-making across the organization
Create and improve the delivery of embedded analytics solutions to end users, helping enhance business processes
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, engineering, or a related field, master’s degree preferred
Proven experience in a leadership role within data science and engineering
Strong technical skills in programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL) and data tools (e.g., Snowflake)
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) is a plus.
