About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with Medical Affairs leadership to establish priorities, operational plans, and strategic investments.
  • Develop business reviews, leadership presentations, dashboards, operational metrics, and reporting.
  • Develop and continuously improve processes, governance, operating models, and performance metrics.
  • Identify operational risks, dependencies, and resource needs.
  • Oversee Medical Affairs operational support and vendor management.
  • Serve as the primary operational liaison between Medical Affairs and key cross-functional partners.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional initiatives that advance Medical Affairs strategy.
  • Build strong relationships across a complex matrixed organization.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience within biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or healthcare organizations.
  • Significant experience supporting Medical Affairs, business operations, strategic planning, or related functions.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex operational initiatives in a matrix environment.
  • Experience supporting senior leaders and influencing across functions.
  • Experience managing vendors, contracts, budgets, and external partnerships.
  • Field Medical, neuroscience, rare disease, or growth-stage biotech experience is preferred.
  • Comfort with screen work, basic hand coordination, and sustained focus.
