Key responsibilities & impact

Liaison with internal stakeholders and partners in the organization.
Conducting an analysis to identify the impact of process changes in areas of opportunity.
Formulates and presents strategy changes, impact analysis, and testing results to peers and leadership.
Interprets data to identify business trends, conduct root cause analysis of business problems, or suggest areas for business process improvement.
Assesses current practices, collects information and analyzes industry trends to help determine operational objectives.

Requirements

What you’ll need

3-5 years of business analysis experience, preferably in financial services, legal recovery or collections.
Proficient at developing and maintaining reporting packages through visualization tools (Power BI or R shiny preferred).
Able to write complex join, union, pivot, common table expression query statements for complex data calculations using time window functions in SQL.
Familiarity with computerized modeling and how to utilize models in data sets.
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex data quality issues or other business problems.
Intermediate-level experience in business analysis using data analytic tools.
Conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills utilizing Excel or other statistical packages to analyze data for potential solutions.
Strong PowerPoint skills as well as formal presentation skills.
BA/BS degree, preferably in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) or another field.
