About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the certification expert for security standards including SESIP, FIPS 140-3, PSA, and ISA/SAE 21434, and safety standards including ISO 26262 and ISO/IEC 62443.
Optimize PQShield’s certification strategy to identify overlaps and R&D opportunities, such as formal verification.
Own the entire certification process from start to finish, communicating with test labs and internal and external parties.
Interact with architects, validation engineers, and the product security team to advise on and handle requirements.
Participate in standardization bodies.
Monitor industry groups and competitors.
Prototype soft IP into certifiable products, such as on FPGA, to provide proof of certifiability to customers.
Explain and demonstrate certifiability to customers.

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 7 years of experience preferred/expected for the role.
Degree in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent.
Proven track record of successfully certifying complex security IP products throughout their lifecycle.
Experience with hardware security industry standards.
Experience with hardware security certifications.
Strong understanding of the semiconductor certification ecosystem, security IP market dynamics, and related technologies.
Commitment to high quality and attention to detail.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Confidence using Atlassian JIRA.
Confidence using HubSpot.
Preferred: knowledge of industry-standard SoC security architectures.
Preferred: knowledge of tamper resistance and/or power side-channel security countermeasures.
Preferred: experience working on secure element or smart card designs.
Preferred: experience using GitLab CI or continuous integration and testing principles.
Preferred: FPGA EDA design flow.
