About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review client applications and make decisions on customer take-on
- Assess escalated PEP / Sanctions / Adverse media alerts
- Act as the point of contact for escalations from the first line of defence
- Carry out enhanced due diligence related to suspicious customer activity
- Provide comprehensive reports for the Chief Compliance Officer and senior management
- Stay informed about evolving regulatory changes, laws, and guidelines on AML/CTF
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years Compliance experience within the financial services or payments industry in Luxembourg
- Familiarity with CSSF regulations and requirements
- Understanding of AML/CFT principles and practices
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently
- Professional certifications in compliance (e.g., CAMS) are a plus
- Fluent in English to a professional level
