About the role

  • Manage and expand a territory balancing new customer acquisition with nurturing existing accounts
  • Own the entire sales process including prospecting, lead generation, qualification, value proposition presentation, solution demonstration, negotiation, and closing
  • Conduct cold calls and reach out to new teams at existing customers to explain value proposition and convert prospects
  • Receive guidance from leadership but exercise independent thinking and initiative to achieve sales goals
  • Run account forensics to enable a data-driven sales approach customized to individual customers
  • Execute strategic sales plays tailored to specific customer profiles
  • Follow up on leads and inbound requests and maximize conversion rate of trials (e.g., adjust email sequences and messaging)
  • Localize and run marketing campaigns with support from central team
  • Enable post-deal product adoption (e.g., trainings) supported by a central enablement team
  • Monitor customer health and detect and prevent churn

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a commercial role (e.g. account mgmt., sales, customer success, business development) in SaaS / software or tech company – ideally in a start-up or scale-up setting
  • University Degree, preferably in business or computer science, or related field
  • Local work experience in Germany
  • Experience in navigating organizational structures and corporate dynamics of large customers
  • Understanding of common GTM tools (e.g. Salesforce.com, Outreach.io)
  • Excellent virtual communication and presentation skills with the ability to build and maintain customer relationships
  • Self-starter with a can-do attitude and an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Appreciation of our product – willingness to understand think-cell’s product; experience with think-cell a plus
  • Willingness to work on-site in Berlin, minimum of 3 days/week
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Fluent in English and German; additional European languages a plus
