About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for field engineering support of all Precision Inc. products within the assigned territory and/or products, including but not limited to technical product performance issues (SAR’s), product applications and gathering of technical data to quote and produce PPI-Global products.
  • Respond to customer needs within the assigned territory and/or product range.
  • Provide technical support services over the phone for the Sales Ops organization, especially while working in the home office when not traveling.
  • Conduct failure analysis and resolution with internal and external reporting.
  • Be responsible for labor reporting when Precision Inc. will charge for field services, to include details of work performed, time required for completion, and cost charged to the customer for said work.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in the Engineering field from a four-year college or university
  • A two-year technical degree with three to five years of related experience and/or training: or Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Valid passport
  • Excellent verbal, written communication skills as well as interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
