About the role

  • Provide advanced field technical support across EMEA.
  • Act as escalation support for complex or high-risk projects.
  • Conduct site audits, inspections, and condition assessments.
  • Partner with Sales and Key Account Managers on strategic accounts.
  • Support tenders, specifications, and technical negotiations.
  • Drive value-based selling through technical differentiation.
  • Support development and optimisation of coating specifications.
  • Engage with consultants, EPCs, and asset owners during project stages.
  • Lead coating failure investigations and root cause analysis.
  • Prepare defensible technical reports and client correspondence.
  • Directly manage, mentor, and develop Technical Service Representatives.
  • Allocate technical resources in line with project priorities.
  • Ensure consistent application of PPG technical standards.
  • Deliver training to customers, applicators, and internal teams.

Requirements

  • 8–12 years’ experience in Protective & Marine coatings.
  • Proven experience in technical service, commercial support, and people management.
  • AMPP/NACE, FROSIO, or equivalent certification preferred.
