About the role

  • Represent PPG at customer facilities
  • Ensure Automotive Coatings customer satisfaction by providing outstanding customer service
  • Focus on Ecoat, color, and appearance control to customer specifications
  • Help achieve both customer and PPG goals
  • Participate in continuous improvement and problem-resolution activities with Plant Operations and Management
  • Lead on-site team in areas of customer relationship management, service, and growth and development
  • Support ongoing activities of onsite PPG customer team
  • Ensure plant operations are functional and provide proactive support as needed
  • Communicate updates to PPG Technical and account management
  • Provide resolutions to customer inquiries and support any special projects as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, not required
  • 3+ years of experience in a commercial or technical service role
  • Record of leadership, sales achievements and people management
  • Financial management skills
  • Market, customer awareness and product technical knowledge
  • Detailed knowledge of all customer coatings/specialty products application equipment and processes
