About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure the installation of the Mechanical or Electrical equipment is completed safely, on time, on budget, and in accordance with the specifications of the project.
  • Represent PowerSecure at the project site level.
  • Oversee all construction activities and be present for all equipment deliveries.
  • Manage subcontractors and internal resources.
  • Interface with the customer, utility, and local AHJ’s.
  • Maintain safe and healthy work sites by following company standards and procedures and complying with legal requirements.
  • Coordinate and administer daily safety briefs with contractors and company employees.
  • Coordinate and lead project meetings with customer, utility, subcontractors, and/or others.
  • Proficiently understand all aspects of project and adequately manage the installation.
  • Ensure project sites are always left in a tidy manner.
  • Coordinate with internal parties for budget and cost management.
  • Assist with material selection and procurement as needed.
  • Properly coordinate with respective parties for timely execution of project schedule.
  • Proficiently communicate with Senior Staff to ensure each project is installed safely, timely, and on budget.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma with 4+ years of experience in construction, energy industries preferred
  • Ability to read and communicate in English
  • Ability to use computer and proficient with standard office software
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents
  • Proficient with computer and proficient with standard office software and construction management software.
  • Knowledge of construction management, financials, and construction process.
  • Must be punctual, organized, and professional.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to lead and conduct meetings in various formats.
  • Must be able to pass a government background check, drug test and other site pre-access requirements.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 training (not required, but a plus).
