About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure the installation of the Mechanical or Electrical equipment is completed safely, on time, on budget, and in accordance with the specifications of the project.
- Represent PowerSecure at the project site level.
- Oversee all construction activities and be present for all equipment deliveries.
- Manage subcontractors and internal resources.
- Interface with the customer, utility, and local AHJ’s.
- Maintain safe and healthy work sites by following company standards and procedures and complying with legal requirements.
- Coordinate and administer daily safety briefs with contractors and company employees.
- Coordinate and lead project meetings with customer, utility, subcontractors, and/or others.
- Proficiently understand all aspects of project and adequately manage the installation.
- Ensure project sites are always left in a tidy manner.
- Coordinate with internal parties for budget and cost management.
- Assist with material selection and procurement as needed.
- Properly coordinate with respective parties for timely execution of project schedule.
- Proficiently communicate with Senior Staff to ensure each project is installed safely, timely, and on budget.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma with 4+ years of experience in construction, energy industries preferred
- Ability to read and communicate in English
- Ability to use computer and proficient with standard office software
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents
- Proficient with computer and proficient with standard office software and construction management software.
- Knowledge of construction management, financials, and construction process.
- Must be punctual, organized, and professional.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to lead and conduct meetings in various formats.
- Must be able to pass a government background check, drug test and other site pre-access requirements.
- OSHA 10 or 30 training (not required, but a plus).
