About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for ongoing maintenance and repair of contracted and non-contracted generator and power distribution equipment
- Provide technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects
- Deliver on-time results to support PSS’s business goals
- Communicate availability status to corporate office
- Maintain company vehicle in safe and operational condition
- Complete all paperwork, including Field Service Reports, Time Sheets, Expense Reports, and other job required reports timely and accurately
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1 to 3 years of field experience servicing commercial generator systems
- High School diploma or GED equivalent, related military experience or equivalent field experience
- Ability to read and interpret technical instructions, safety manuals, service manuals and policies and procedures
- Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts
- Physical ability to work in outdoor environments and lift heavy objects (20-75 pounds)
- Computer fluent, with specific attention to ERP systems, email and Microsoft Office products
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Process oriented, with demonstrated attention to detail
